Partnering People with Horses for Powerful Learning

Cornerstones Equine Facilitated Learning Programs will change the way you see yourself.

Equine Facilitated Learning

Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL) focuses on fostering a connection with one's inner self through building relationship with horses. The relational quality of the work facilitates personal growth and self-discovery. Our approach at Cornerstones emphasizes present moment awareness, guided by participants' perceptions and the relational quality of EFL.  Through facilitated activities such as mindful interactions with the herd and reflective grooming sessions, participants gain an opportunity to shift their understanding and experience of themselves.  As they engage in these interactions, individuals are encouraged to explore new perspectives and embrace personal development.

At Cornerstones, we emphasize the importance of authenticity and self-awareness. Our experienced facilitators guide you on a journey of self-discovery, helping you recognize and nurture the strengths within you. With a supportive environment and the gentle presence of our equine partners, you can unlock new insights and cultivate a harmonious balance between your inner and outer expressions.  Whether you seek personal growth, emotional healing, or simply a deeper connection to yourself, Cornerstones offers a transformative experience that empowers you to live a more fulfilled and aligned life.

Our Mission

Our core values and objectives center on creating a safe haven for individuals to achieve wellness through meaningful connections with horses. We aim to promote emotional resilience and foster personal growth within a supportive, inclusive, and equine-guided environment.

TESTIMONIALS

Krista H.

"Lily taught me that I am allowed to have feelings and with compassion, to feel them and let them go."

Kaitlin T.

"My horse helped me today to learn that ... those I choose to be part of my team will affect me, so (to be) careful to keep people around me whose choices coincide with my most positive outcome."

Paula W.

“The most I learned from today was to look at the bigger picture and to not let my attitude get the best of me. I also learned to be assertive so that others will listen to me when I demand leadership.”
